Amna Akhtar

Amna Akhtar is a Research Officer at the Collective for Social Science Research. Amna completed her undergraduate degree from Institute of Business Administration Karachi and has previous experience in the local development and education sector.

For LANSA

Amna is LANSA’s Research Uptake Officer for Pakistan and is part of the Pakistan research team.

Jessica Meeker

Jessica Meeker is a Nutrition Convenor within Knowledge Services team at IDS. Jessica has a Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical medicine and a background in research in nutrition and training.  At IDS Jessica has managed the knowledge sharing and research uptake activities for a number of nutrition research programmes, conducted evidence reviews on nutrition and agriculture and organised and facilitated stakeholder workshops in Africa and South Asia.

For LANSA

Jessica supported LANSA in stakeholder mapping and research uptake strategy development during the inception phase. Jessica provides ongoing support to help facilitate knowledge sharing amongst stakeholders.
 

Sangeetha Rajeesh

An independent development/environment journalist, Sangeetha Rajeesh is Fellow - International Institute of Journalism, Berlin and Fellow – National Media Foundation, New Delhi. She holds a Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism. Sangeetha was Contributor to Rural 21- Germany and Global Press Institute - US, and has worked with leading National dailies in India. She was also Media Researcher - Panos South Asia; Consultant Researcher – ActionAid; and Consultant-Author/photographer for International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Sangeetha is Former Editor, Press Institute of India & Research Institute for Newspaper Development. She also was Web Documentor for UNICEF, ActionAid and CCF Canada in India. 

For LANSA

Sangeetha Rajeesh is Research Uptake Manager and Communication Specialist based at MSSRF, and is responsible for research communications for the LANSA Consortium.

Zeenat Ahmed

Zeenat is an Information and Communication professional with experience in research, programme management, research dissemination, editing and publishing, organisational communication strategy and a keen interest in knowledge management. She worked for a long time in CIRDAP, a  regional organisation for rural development in Asia and the Pacific and briefly at the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development. Zeenat did her Masters in Economics from Dhaka University.

For LANSA

Zeenat is the Lead Research Uptake for LANSA in Bangladesh.
